Mr. Reeder is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer, for the SpecPro Group with responsibilities for strategic planning, growth and development, and overall technical performance of contracts and internal systems. He has developed a profitable business in Engineering, Technical Services and Environmental Services that provides a direct return to shareholders; an employee-oriented environment; and a satisfied client base. He has exceeded all goals for revenue, net profit and dividends while moving the company from a single firm at $16M per year to $92M a year multi-company Group with more than 600 employees. He selected and trained senior executives and then launched seven very successful spin-out firms that now comprise 2500 members and $450M in annual revenue. Current clients include the Department of Defense, Drug Enforcement Agency, Federal Occupational Health Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Justice and Department of Labor.

Prior to becoming the President / CEO of SpecPro, Mr. Reeder served in the roles of Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations, and Vice President for activities in strategic planning, fiscal budgeting and control and execution of bioscience, engineering support and environmental technology programs.

Awards

Mr. Reeder has on three occasions won the Department of Defense Nunn-Perry Award for Mentor-Protégé Achievements, was chosen the SBA Small Veteran Owned Business “Champion of the Year”, twice won Regional and National SBA Prime Contractor of the Year Awards, the Presidential Closing the Circle Award for Environmental Projects, the IT Best Practices Award for the Veterans Administration, the San Antonio High-Technology Provider of the Year and the San Antonio Business Opportunity Council award. 

Military Experience

While in the Air Force, Mr. Reeder served as Chief of Logistics Plans at the HQ Air Intelligence Agency, and Liaison Officer to Canadian Forces for the North Warning System, Air Force Headquarters, and a Program Manager for B-1B bomber with Air Force Logistics Command. He performed duties as a Minuteman Missile Combat Crew Commander, Strategic Air Command, and Master Instructor for operational and maintenance training in Air Training Command, and is a Vietnam veteran.

Education

Mr. Reeder achieved a Master’s degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He received training at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Defense Systems Management College, the Air Force Institute of Technology, the Canadian Forces Senior Officer Institute and George Mason University.
